Bella Hadid and cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos split after two years together

It's over for Bella Hadid and her cowboy boyfriend. 

The 29-year-old model and her partner of two years, equestrian Adan Banuelos, have split, with multiple outlets confirming their relationship is over. 

A source has confirmed the news to People, while another source told Entertainment Tonight, who was first to report the breakup, Hadid is "doing her best to stay positive and distract herself since their split." 

"She's been staying busy with work and spending time with close friends," the source added. 

"She is still processing the breakup since it was a very serious relationship."

Hadid and Banuelos were first linked in October 2023, just three months after she split from her ex Marc Kalman. 

At the time the couple seemingly went public with their relationship during an outing in Texas, making out and holding hands while strolling around Fort Worth.

Not long after that, she made things Instagram official, sharing a glimpse of him in a photo dump posted in February 2024. 

The carousel of pics, which included snaps from her 27th birthday celebrations, showed the couple facing away from the camera while sporting matching cowboy hats in one shot. 

Hadid opened up about how she and Banuelos met during an interview with British Vogue in May 2025. 

The model had relocated to Texas where her mum Yolanda Hadid and stepdad were building a house and at the time she was struggling with chronic illness and "self-love" issues. 

"I'm with my stepdad," she recalled. 

"We move cows, we're on trail rides, and I'm starting to feel a little better, but just still dealing with my own stuff. Then, the next day, I meet my boyfriend."

The actress explained that Banuelos had no idea about who she was, or how famous she was, when they first met, which was a "breath of fresh air" for her. 

As the months progressed the couple made plenty of appearances together, from equestrian events to as recently as December, when they were pictured together at an event in Dallas for her perfume brand Orebella.
