Britney Spears teases grand return to music, setting sights on Australia
Hers was a voice that defined a generation, prior to the notoriously messy legal battle that forced her career to be indefinitely shelved.
But now Y2k pop legend Britney Spears has unexpectedly teased her grand return to music – and it seems she's set her sights on Australia.
In a post to Instagram this week, the superstar songstress has alluded to a career comeback, expressing her desire to tour with her youngest son Jayden Federline, 19.

In the post, Spears revealed that while she has no plans to ever tour in the United States again for "extremely sensitive reasons," she has high hopes of returning to both UK and Aussie stages "very soon".
In recent times, she has plugged her youngest son's burgeoning music career, taking every opportunity to show off his talent via social media.
And now, she's made clear her desire to bring him on a comeback tour down under.
"I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son," she said.

"He's a huge star and I'm so humbled to be in his presence! God speed, little man!"
This is the first time she's teased her return since stepping back from the spotlight in 2019.
If the pop princess makes good on her word, it will mark her first Australian show since 2009.
She'd previously been embroiled in a high-profile legal battle with her father, Jamie Spears, which centred around her 13-year court-mandated conservatorship.

The pop icon sought to end the notoriously restrictive arrangement, following alleged mismanagement of her career and finances by her father.
This case sparked the viral "Free Britney" campaign, ultimately resulting in the conservatorship being lifted in 2021.
Following this, Spears regained autonomy and independence over her social media accounts and finances.
Her hint at a tour comes after she was seen spending Christmas with her youngest son.
"Britney had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Jayden — it's been such a special holiday," a source told People in December.
The 'Toxic' singer shares Jayden, 19, and Sean, 20, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
In the post, she also addressed the perplexing dance videos she's been known to share in recent years, saying that she "dances on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about."
"Yup and it's embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life…" She said of the videos.
