Supreme Commander of the Knights Of Rizal Inspired European Leaders In Prague

October 4, 2025 – Prague, Czech Republic - The Knights of Rizal of the Czech Republic is hosting the European Regional Assembly today at Dou Hotel in Prague, bringing together its high-ranking members and guests from across the globe to reaffirm the organization’s commitment to patriotism and civic duty.

Knights of Rizal is the oldest Filipino organization in the Czech Republic, started when there were only 32 Filipinos living in the country, which is now about 12,000.  The organization is the only one recognized by the Philippine government as the only civic organization in the Philippines created by law—Republic Act No. 646 (1951).

The 9th European Regional Assembly was attended by Commanders of the European Region with attendance of Commanders from Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Brussels, US, UK, Philippines, and Canada Chapters.

The event celebrated the organization’s enduring commitment to patriotism, civic service, and the timeless values of Dr. José Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero.

The assembly provided a platform for members to discuss ongoing initiatives, share best practices, and strengthen the organization’s network throughout Europe. Highlights of the event included keynote addresses, interactive workshops, and a ceremonial reaffirmation of the Knights’ dedication to promoting Rizal’s teachings of education, integrity, and national pride.
