20 years after The Devil Wears Prada, we've just had our first look at the sequel
Gird your loins: the first official trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has dropped.
Eighteen months after the sequel was announced, we've been given our first proper look at Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci as they reprise their roles from the 2006 hit.
The trailer indicates Hathaway's character Andrea 'Andy' Sachs returns to Runway magazine to work with former boss Miranda Priestley (Streep) and Nigel (Tucci).

At one point, the trio encounter Emily (Blunt), Priestley's fellow former assistant.
"You've changed. You're much more confident," she tells Andy.
"You kept those eyebrows, though, didn't you?"

Also briefly featured in the trailer is Aussie actor Patrick Brammell, of Colin From Accounts fame, who's believed to be playing Andy's husband.
The poster for the movie has also been released, featuring black-and-white portraits of the four main stars.
The trailer has come months after on-set photos of the cast filming the sequel in New York began trickling out.
The post showed off the new and improved Andy in one of her outfits for the reboot, with the caption "Andy Sachs 2025."
Hathaway was first to give fans a glimpse at her character in the movie's sequel as filming began.
As the long-awaited sequel starts production, here's what we know so far.
Who will be in The Devil Wears Prada 2?
In the original, Hathaway co-starred alongside Meryl Streep, who played the formidable magazine editor Miranda Priestly, who will also be making a return for the sequel.
Emily Blunt will return to reprise her role as Emily Charlton while Stanley Tucci will be back to play Nigel, Priestly's close friend and co-worker.
Patrick Brammall is also joining the cast, replacing Adrian Grenier, who played Nate, Andy's love interest.
Brammall stars in and co-created Binge's smash-hit series Colin From Accounts.
A few more famous faces will join the cast of the sequel – Lucy Liu, Rachel Bloom, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Simone Ashley and Pauline Chalamet.
When does The Devil Wears Prada 2 come out?
The movie has started filming and is set to come out in theatres on April 30, 2026.
It may take several months or up to a year to reach streaming sites.
What will The Devil Wears Prada 2 be about?
The sequel will follow Priestly as she "navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing", according to Variety and IMDB.
Priestly will have to face off against Blunt's character, her former assistant, who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury advertising group, who are supplying advertisting dollars her company "desperately needs," Variety said.
Who is producing/directing the sequel?
The movie will be produced by 20th Century Studios, which also produced the original.
Co-writer of the first movie Aline Brosh McKenna will write the script, and the film will be directed by David Frankel, who directed the original.
