Double takes as Margot Robbie unites with fellow Aussie icon Samara Weaving at screening

There were double takes as Margot Robbie reunited with fellow Australian actress Samara Weavingat the Los Angeles premiere of Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come.

With their similar features, colour co-ordinated outfits and Robbie's new edgy lob cut styled in waves, the stars' Babylon co-stars' well-known resemblance was made extremely clear.

Weaving took the chance to rock her baby bump, wearing a green floor-length gown with a midsection cutout for a glamourous maternity look.

She wore brown suede pointed toe heels and and a brown trench, complementing Robbie's brown leather jacket and pointed black boots.

The Wuthering Heights icon chose to support Australian brand With Jéan on the red carpet, wearing their chic black strapless Luca dress.

Robbie recently shocked fans after reinventing her look by chopping her hair to a collarbone length, paired with a wispy fringe.

She debuted her new look At Chanel's Fall/Winter 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week on March 9.

Robbie and Weaving, along with looking like sisters, have had a similar upbringing within their acting careers.

The Aussie actesses have always been referred to as doppelgangers, and Weaving has mentioned times that she has posed with fans after being mistaken for Robbie.

Weaving was first seen and recognised for her role as Indi walker on Home and Away in 2009, while Robbie landed her first regular role as Donna Freedman on Neighbours in 2008.

The pair, along with their partners Tom Ackley and Jimmy Warden, are all known to be great friends.

Weaving told Stellar magazine, "We met five or six years ago. She's great; our husbands are like best friends."

Robbie reflected on the experience, saying "It was so fun" to finally work together.

"For years we were like, 'When are we going to be in a film together or a TV show?'" she added.

"We just wanted to be on screen together."
