"That's my family. Those are the people that affect you the most, take up the most space naturally as a human who's born into something," she told the outlet.
"Just because you're born into a family doesn't mean that it always stays together.
"You can only control your side and your street ... I've had a very complicated life, and my parents had a very complicated thing.

"I know it's not rare, and I think it goes back to the theme of, Why share now? I guess I just felt ready."
The lyrics of We Don't Talk appear to be about her rumoured estrangement from her sister.
"People ask me how you're doing, I wanna say amazing but the truth is I don't know, what I always end up saying is how we don't talk," Duff sings.
"Not even sure what it was about. If I did something different would you feel something different? Would you at least let me hear you out?"
"'Cause we come from the same home, from the same love, a different combination but the same love."
Per Glamour, she reportedly sings on another track about her dad: "I wish I could sleep on planes, and that my father would really love me."
Haylie only recently "liked" a post about Ashley Tisdale's "toxic mum group" essay for The Cut. Hilary was rumoured to have been part of the friendship group.
