Jacob Elordi buys pair of thongs in NSW small town, giving workers the shock of their lives
Two newsagency workers got the shock of their lives when Australian heartthrob Jacob Elordi strolled into their store in a small northern NSW town.
The Wuthering Heights star walked into Mullumbimby Newsagency this week, looking to buy a pair of thongs.
Shop attendants Jordan and Maddie told Today they couldn't believe their eyes when they realised who it was.

"He was just standing outside looking at the thongs. His mates came in first, they were just wandering around the shop," Jordon said on this morning's show.
"He came [and asked], 'Can I try a pair of these thongs on?' I said, 'Sure.' I opened them for him, they were a perfect fit."
"He asked us what our names were, he said, 'I'm Jacob' ... we knew that."

"We saw him outside, and we both paused and thought, 'Hang on, is that THE Jacob Elordi?'
"We started shaking and just said [to each other], 'Be calm, don't freak out'," Maddi added.
The girls said the actor was nothing but nice and spoke to them "for a while," telling them he had been to the beach earlier that day.
"He was so nice, he was such a nice guy," Maddie said.
She added that the Oscar nominee bought two Vogue magazines from the newsagency, featuring Elordi and his Wuthering Heights co-star Margot Robbie on the cover.
"They were the last two we had," Maddi said.
The pair were nervous, but managed to take some photos with the star.
"I was shaking at first," Jordon confessed.
Elordi flew into Australia last week to attend the Wuthering Heights premiere at Sydney's State Theatre.
His co-star Robbie is expected to attend the Tropfest Short Film Festival at Centennial Park on Sunday, however, there's no confirmation Elordi will attend.
It's unclear how long he is expecting to stay in Australia, but newsagency staff across the country are surely keeping a close eye on who walks through their doors, just in case.
