Judge throws out most of Blake Lively's claims in harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni
A federal judge has thrown out 10 of the 13 claims in Blake Lively's lawsuit against her It Ends with Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni.
Judge Lewis J. Liman threw out the claims in a court ruling on Thursday in a 152-page opinion, in a major legal blow to the Gossip Girl actress, 38.
That means just three claims will be heard at the impending trial, set to take place in May; breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting in retaliation.

The judge dismissed claims including sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy.

Following the ruling, Lively's lawyer Sigrid McCawley said the actress plans to move forward with the case and take the remaining three claims to the jury.

"This case has always been and will remain focused on the devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively's reputation because she stood up for safety on the set and that is the case that is going to trial," the attorney said in a statement.
"For Blake Lively, the greatest measure of justice is that the people and the playbook behind these coordinated digital attacks have been exposed and are already being held accountable by other women they've targeted.
"She looks forward to testifying at trial and continuing to shine a light on this vicious form of online retaliation so that it becomes easier to detect and fight."
Two months ago, it was reported that Lively and Baldoni had failed to reach a deal at a court hearing with the pair facing off in court-ordered mediation.
Lively's old voice message to Justin Baldoni also resurfaced amid their legal battle recently.
Dated February 2023, and reported by outlets including People, the message was unsealed in court exhibits and legal filings.
In it, Lively spoke about the production schedule of the pair's 2024 film It Ends With Us – which Baldoni directed and starred in – and how she had a lot going on before production began.
"I'm talking to you as a friend at this point more than anything," she reportedly said in part of the voice memo.

Just last year, it was reported Baldoni's $611 million ($US400 million) defamation countersuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds had been formally ended by a federal judge in New York.
The actress first sued for alleged sexual harassment and claimed Baldoni tried to ruin her reputation.
He denied the claims, and countersued for alleged defamation and extortion.
