Nicola Peltz Beckham's eyebrow-raising move hours one day before husband's bombshell statement about family feud
Brooklyn Beckham just blew the lid off his family's feud in a very public manner, but his wife Nicola Peltz has gone for a more subtle stab at her estranged in-laws.
Today, Brooklyn released a long-awaited statement addressing everything that's been reported about his rift with his parents in the last two years, from the rumours about drama over a wedding dress to some other stunning claims.
But Nicola, despite being at the centre of the rift, has stayed silent – except for a new tattoo she debuted just one day before her husband dropped the bombshell.
The activist and actress posted a photo flaunting a tiny blue bikini to Instagram, with a new tattoo just visible on her ribs.
According The Mirror, the tattoo is written in Yiddish and translates to "family first."
Nicola has not reposted or commented on her husband's statement since it went live on Instagram – instead, she has shared photos of luxury fashion designer Valentino Garavani, who died this morning.
Valentino made Nicola a custom wedding dress after Victoria Beckham cancelled her gown at the last minute.

Nicola's post about the new tattoo yesterday came with reports Brooklyn was considering a truce with his family.
However, that was proven untrue in the statement he released today, in which he declared, "I do not want to reconcile with my family."
"I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," he continued.
Last week, Nicola took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message to her mother, Claudia Heffner Peltz, posting photos of her accompanied by a sweet caption.
"I love you mom, so so much," the post starts.
"I don't know what I would do in life without your love. Thank you for being you, the most beautiful human inside and out, there is truly no one like you."
The post, in combination with the statement released by Brooklyn today, makes it clear that the pair do not feel that Peltz or her family are the cause of their issues with David and Victoria.

Brooklyn and Nicola spent the holidays with the Peltz family and held a vow renewal ceremony David and Victoria Beckham did not attend.
The couple have also stopped attending family events in the fallout of the feud, which he addressed in the statement.
"For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family," he wrote.
"The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade.
"But I believe the truth always comes out."
Amid the several bombshell claims, he said that he was told by members of his family that Nicola was "not blood" and "not family" in the lead-up to their wedding.
He added that he and his wife "do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want peace privacy and happiness for us and our future family."
The bombshell statement has blown their feud wide open and David, Victoria and Brooklyn's brothers are yet to comment.
