PDA photos fuel rumours of Dakota Johnson's new romance months after Chris Martin split

It seems Dakota Johnson has all but moved on from ex-fiancé Chris Martin.

The 50 Shades of Grey alum, 36, was spotted out and about in Los Angeles with a brand new singer-songwriter beau in tow.

She and the artist behind smash hit Sally, When the Wine Runs Out, Role Model, were photographed holding hands during their decidedly cosy dinner outing, and again afterwards as they left the restaurant with friends.

The unlikely pair first sparked dating rumours in December, continuing to fuel said rumours through multiple public appearances in the following weeks.

Despite being spotted in the wild a number of times since, Johnson and Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, have yet to officially confirm their relationship.

Their burgeoning romance comes months after Johnson's long-term relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin came to an end in June last year.

Per PEOPLE, the pair had been enmeshed in an on-again, off-again dynamic for eight years – several of which they spent engaged.

Johnson's relationship with Martin, which began in 2017, was reportedly often "hot and cold," prior to their eventual split.

Meanwhile, Pillsbury, 28, had previously been in a three-year relationship with media personality Emma Chamberlain – which began after the former saw a Tiktok video of Chamberlain's and proceeded to "slide into her DMs."

The pair then hard-launched their relationship in a GQ feature in 2023, before breaking up later that same year.

Chamberlain has since raised eyebrows amongst fans, after being seen dancing to her ex's now-viral hit during an appearance on Owen Thiele's In Your Dreams podcast.

Pillsbury's rumoured relationship with Johnson comes ahead of an upcoming stint on Aussie shores, with the up-and-coming singer set to make a headline appearance at St. Jerome's Laneway Festival in February.

He's best known for bringing out a growing roster of celebrities during performances of Sally, When the Wine Runs Out – having featured big names such as Natalie Portman, Kate Hudson and Olivia Rodrigo as the titular 'Sally' character thus far.

But fans hoping for a surprise cameo from Johnson during upcoming Australasian performances may be disappointed – the actress will have a packed schedule in the coming months.

She is set to appear in upcoming thriller Verity, in addition to making her directorial debut with feature The Tree is Blue.
