Robert Irwin surprises thousands of festivalgoers in Perth - then does a dance move no one was expecting

Robert Irwin certainly put his dancing skills to good use over the weekend.
The wildlife warrior, 22, joined Role Model onstage at Laneway Festival in Perth after he was called upon to be his "Sally" of the evening.
The singer always brings out a guest, often a celebrity, during the song Sally, When the Wine Runs Out – and the crowd couldn't have been more thrilled when Irwin popped up.

"Where's my Sally tonight?" the musician, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, yelled, before Irwin belted out in full khaki attire and danced along with him.
While other stars simply sing the words back to him, Irwin took the opportunity to dance like no one was watching.
And in an unexpected move, he even dropped to the floor to do "the worm".
The audience went wild for the Dancing With The Stars winner, screaming at the top of their lungs as they watched Irwin do his thing.
One fan commented on the moment: "Just imagine if his Dad was still alive today what a wild duo they would make!"

"This was not on my 2026 bingo card," another wrote, while a third added: "I love this guy, I know he makes his father proud every day. Steve and his wife raised genuinely good humans. Steve's legacy lives on."
The trend, which began in early 2025, has featured numerous celebrities since it first came to light.
These include Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX, Natalie Portman and Kate Hudson.
In Sydney, it was The Wiggles who joined Role Model onstage; a move which delighted screaming fans no end.
It's been an extremely busy time for Irwin following his DWTS win last year.
Only recently, he was spotted at the Super Bowl in the USA rocking out to Bad Bunny's halftime show performance – although, without a date on his arm.
In an interview with Today, the young zookeeper recently that there was "nothing particularly exciting to report" on the subject of his love life.
"I wish there was more I could give you, there's nothing much going on. But we'll see."
The star's last public relationship was with the niece of actor Heath Ledger, Rorie Buckley.
The pair dated for two years, before announcing their split in a joint statement in 2024.
Since then, Irwin has kept his status private but has spoken about the difficulties of dating in the public eye.
