UK reality star claims he was 'axed' from Gladiators over girlfriend's OnlyFans account

A UK reality star claims he was "suddenly axed" from a popular game show because he wanted to go public with his partner, who is an OnlyFans model.

Giant, whose real name is Jamie Bigg, starred in three season of BBC's Gladiators, which features buff "superhumans" taking on agility, speed and strength challenges.

Bigg, 40, told Good Morning Britain he believes he was let go because his partner Taylor Ryan, 28, creates adult content on online subscription service OnlyFans.

The pair, who went Instagram-official earlier this week, appeared on the British morning program today, claiming Bigg faced an ultimatum between his TV career and his relationship.

"I was told my season four contract wasn't being renewed because of my relationship," he told the hosts.

"I count myself as a role model, and one of those values as a role model is to stick by the people I love.

"So I decided, and I imagine other people in my situation would have found it very hard to walk away from an amazing opportunity of being a Gladiator."

Ryan chimed in, telling the hosts Bigg's choice "was a very telling moment of the type of man that he is."

Ryan reportedly makes $25,000 a month selling content on OnlyFans.

A spokesperson for the show released a statement via the BBC, writing: "After three formidable series, Giant is leaving Gladiators.

Bigg addressed the situation in an Instagram post last week, announcing he would not be returning to the show while hinting at the dilemma.

"To my Gladiator family," the post started.

"I want to tell you all that I won't be coming back for season 4 of the TV show.

"Being a Gladiator has been one of the greatest honours of my life.https://www.instagram.com/p/DXgj0UGCFa_/?img_index=1

"Stepping into that arena, hearing the crowd, representing strength, resilience and being a role model… that's something I'll carry with me forever.

"What I do want to make clear is this wasn't a decision I made to step away.I was faced with a choice that didn't align with my values.

"And if you know me, you know this… I stand by my people and I stand by what I believe in. That's what being a role model means to me.

"This isn't the end. It's just the beginning. Stay strong. Stand tall."

It was only in a statement later released to the Daily Mail that he claimed he was "axed" from the show because of his partner's job.

"I made it clear that I was planning to go public with my relationship, including the fact my partner works as an OnlyFans creator, and shortly after that I was told I wouldn't be continuing on Gladiators," he told the outlet.

"I've always taken being in the public eye seriously, and I believe being a role model is about honesty as well as professionalism.

"For me, that means not hiding parts of who I am or the people I care about."

The pair met over social media, with Bigg sending her a DM, kicking off their getting to know each other.

Just hours after Bigg announced his new relationship, she took to Instagram to share how shocked she was by the development.

"Finding out about a new relationship so soon has been a shock," she wrote.

"It's hurtful, and it's been painful to take in, especially as I'm still processing the breakdown of our marriage of 13 years."
