'Very mean': Kendall Jenner finally addresses sexuality speculation

For years, Kendall Jenner's sexuality has been the subject of intense online scrutiny.

But the model and reality TV starlet has never before justified the speculation with a response – until now.

At long last, Jenner has finally addressed the unsubstantiated 'lesbian' allegations via Owen Thiele's In Your Dreams podcast – and her response is not what you'd expect.

"You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it," she said of the long-running rumours.

"It's not with a welcoming arm of, 'Hey, if you were [lesbian] yes, come join [the LGBT community]," she reflected.

"It's not kind. It's very mean. It's very like, 'What the [expletive] are you doing?'"

The supermodel went on to put the long-running rumours to bed once and for all, confirming that she does not, in fact, identify as gay.

She said that while she appreciates the level of difficulty and nuance associated with coming out, she would not consider herself the type to "hide" her sexuality.

"I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I'd be out if I was," the Kardashians star revealed.

"I'm not saying it's an easy thing. I'm just saying that knowing me and knowing how I would want to live my life, I would be."

"I'd have no problem being [a lesbian]," the reality star added.

The 30-year-old went on to criticise the online comments that suggest she would stay in the closet to maintain the image of her famous family's various business ventures.

She dismissed the idea in no uncertain terms, sharing that she does not understand that narrative.

She concluded the discussion by saying "as of today, I am not [gay] and don't think I will be, but I'm not closing doors to experiences in life".

In the same interview, Jenner also discussed her views around cosmetic surgery – and whether she has ever had it.Kendall Jenner opens up about plastic surgery

While her famous family is known to have dabbled in various procedures; from Kris Jenner's viral facelift, to sister Kylie Jenner's boob job – Jenner says that she's kept the cosmetic work to a minimum.

Opening up about navigating scarring from acne, she admitted she feels "very privileged" to have access to doctors who can help with skin rejuvenation.

But while she admits she's dabbled in microneedling and various other skin treatments, she insists that she remains strictly averse to plastic surgery.

"I'm not here to convince anyone, but I'm just here to tell you the truth — which is the fact that I've never had any plastic surgery on my face, nothing," she revealed.
