Danielle Spencer leads Aussie stars and rock legends on red carpet at the 2026 APRA Music Awards

A host of Aussie stars hit the red carpet for the 2026 APRA Music Awards in Sydney this week.

The likes of Danielle Spencer, who recently made a comeback to music, Jessica Mauboy, Peter Garrett and members of INXS attended the event held at the Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday evening.

Spencer, 56, who is Russell Crowe's ex-wife, led the red carpet arrivals, turning heads in a black lace top and matching trousers.

Spencer wore her long, blonde hair out and over her shoulders and her signature tinted glasses.

The singer has recently released her new album Regenerate and told nine.com.au about what she hopes listeners get out of the record.

"I hope they get a sense of possibility out of it. A sense of there's always a way to reboot yourself and pull yourself out of those times where you might feel depleted, like you run out of batteries or feel like, when you get to bigger numbers in your age ... there's still life out there," she said.

Another familiar face was singer Jessica Mauboy, who looked chic in a burgundy silk suit.

Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett, 73, couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he stepped out at music's night of nights

The rocker performed on the evening, thrilling the audience with a tribute to his late friend and Midnight Oil bandmate Rob Hirst.

Other stars in attendance include the likes of members of rock band INXS.
