Dylan Sprouse breaks silence on 'trauma' of home invasion, after trespasser arrested
Dylan Sprouse, 33, and Barbara Palvin, 32, have broken their silence three days after they confronted an alleged home intruder in their Los Angeles property.
"It's dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun," Palvin told E! News at the New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2.
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody actor added he is "not a 'too soon' guy" when it comes to making jokes.
The A-list couple are taking the traumatic event in their stride with Sprouse continuing: "We're laughing about things the moment they happen.
"You got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt and there was no more violence than what happened. So, it's all OK."
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were called to Sprouse and Palvin's home after a report of an attempted burglary at 12.30 am on Friday, April 17, TMZ reported.
According to celebrity gossip site's sources, when the trespasser attempted to break in, Sprouse sprung into action tackling him and even held a gun to him at one point.

The man was arrested on site although authorities have not publicly identified him.
Speaking on the red carpet in the days after the home intrusion, Sprouse jested he wanted to address the reported break-in with a video of his self-described "performative karate" moves.
"But then Barbara told me it's cringe and I shouldn't do it," he playfully added.
Sprouse and Palvin first started dating in 2018.
They were engaged in September 2022 but waited almost a year before making the news public.
The couple, who prefer to keep the details of their relationship private but are a crowd-favourite for their red carpet antics, wed in Hungary in July 2023.
