Jennifer Aniston, 56, recently told Popsugar she went for a vintage luxury car as her first big spend during her Friends days.

But it didn't exactly go to plan.

"I mean, it could have been over two years. And I always was like, 'I can't wait, someday, someday.'

"One day I bought it, and then I drove it, and then drove it again, and it never drove again."

The actress had accidentally bought "a lemon".

Aniston's co-star Courteney Cox was so confident in the '90s sitcom's success, she set her sights on buying a Porsche after filming the pilot.

Sex and the City's Kristin Davis revealed on The Late Late Show With James Cordon that Cox had auditioned for Monica and dropped the Porsche details not long afterwards.
