Gordon Ramsay brands Peaty family feud 'upsetting' as he speaks out on son-in-law's drama after his daughter's wedding
Gordon Ramsay has broken his silence on an apparent family feud which has plagued headlines in recent weeks.
The celebrity chef, 59, had welcomed swimmer Adam Peaty, 31, into his family after he married his daughter Holly Ramsay, 26, on December 27.
But the happy occasion was met with reports that Adam had uninvited his parents, Caroline and Mark Peaty, to the lavish nuptials – and that his dad was initiially invited under strict conditions, but then chose not to attend.

''It's just upsetting,'' Ramsay this week remarked about the feud to The Daily Mail.
''It's all self-inflicted from their side, because we've done nothing – none of what you've read: no rudeness, no ignorance – we welcomed them.
"We sent a chauffeur-driven car for them to come to the engagement party and treated them like royalty."

He added: "It was Adam and Holly's wishes for them not to attend and so we had to respect that."
The chef said he would like to visit Peaty's parents to finally "draw a line in the sand" and move on.
His wife Tana added that "there are no winners" when it comes to family feuds.
Ramsay also insisted that he did not say or imply anything about Peaty's parents in his speech at the wedding, as some reports claimed.
Peaty's mother was reportedly not invited to Holly's hens night, where the feud is said to have started, with his aunt Louise Williams, Caroline's sister, speaking out about it in a public Instagram post.
"@hollyramsayy I'm so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply," it's reported she wrote in part at the time.
"A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law to your hen night yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night."

Ahead of the wedding, Caroline Peaty publicly offered her son an olive branch amid the feud.
"I hope your marriage is a good one, I don't wish any ill on you and I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage, like your dad and me. The reason I'm speaking out is I want all this to end," she told The Mail at the time. https://www.instagram.com/p/DTdQPsVjdJX/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=30293d35-1a6b-47b0-ba15-84c686717dd0
Gordon was right by his daughter's side as she got married in a breathtaking ceremony at Bath Abbey, sharing a photograph as they held hands in the car on the way to the church where he would walk her down the aisle.
"One of the most exciting car journeys ever in a father's life is on the way to the Church with your beautiful daughter, incredible conversations and helping her to stay calm and relaxed ahead of our walk down the aisle," he wrote about the moment on Instagram.
He added: "A moment I'll never ever forget ❤️"
