Halle Berry confirms engagement with long-term partner Van Hunt

Halle Berry's long-time partner has finally put a ring on it!
Berry announced the engagement news on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, telling the host she needed to clear up some "confusion" about her partner, Van Hunt.
She confessed that there were rumours that she had rejected his proposal, but she quickly shut it down while on the show.
"There's some confusion that he asked to marry me and I said no," Berry said.
"But, that's not the case?" Fallon asked. "No, that's not the case," she replied.
"I did not say 'no,' we just don't have a date. Of course, I said 'yes, I would marry him.'"
During the interaction, a jealous heckler in the crowd shouted in heartbreak that Berry was engaged to someone else.

"Security, please have that guy taken out, bye," Fallon joked, referring to the heckler.
He continued: "No. I'm so happy, you guys are a great couple. Congratulations."
Berry then showed off her massive ring, adding, "Thank you, he did put a little ring on it."
The announcement comes months after Hunt confirmed to US Today that he had proposed to Berry in June 2025, but the affair was "put on hold".
"I put out the proposal, and it's still on hold as you can see," the singer-songwriter told Today.com in a joint interview with Berry on Today with Jenna & Friends.
"It's just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her."
The Catwoman star has been married three times previously.
She was married to MLB player David Justicefrom 1993 to 1997.

Berry was married to her third ex-husband was Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016.
Meanwhile, Hunt has been married and divorced once.
The pair first met in 2020 and bonded online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They made the relationship Instagram official in September 2020.
