'I'm upset for both of them': Kyle Sandilands' ex Imogen Anthony throws her support behind radio host amid fallout
Kyle Sandilands' ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony has publicly thrown her support behind the broadcaster, who has been suspended from his role for 14 days over comments he made towards co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson in an on-air dispute.
On Instagram, Anthony issued an extraordinary statement in support of Sandilands, with whom she was in a relationship for eight years before splitting in 2019.
"With everyone hoping that Kyle gets cancelled, this man also still helps me look after over 100 rescued animals," she wrote.

"Kyle often says the wrong thing. I spent 8 years with this man, but I also understand Jackie being an outspoken Aquarian.
"I have also seen how much he has taken Jackie along every step of the way and ensured that she was treated fairly.
"I'm upset for both of them to be completely honest and hope they can just snap the f--k out of it.

Imogen added the safety and well-being of her rescue animals is her top priority, saying her followers know how much they mean to her and Sandilands.
"When you're wishing ill upon someone today, remember who you're choosing ill upon," she continued.
"He's my best friend and I'll defend him no matter what him and I have been through."
Anthony runs the Crimson Peak Animal Sanctuary in NSW's Southern Highlands.
Sandilands has not yet released a statement on the the Australian Radio Network's (ARN) announcement Jackie O had left the Kyle and Jackie O Show.
"Ms Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she 'cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands'," the company said in a statement.
They also said Sandilands has been suspended for two weeks over allegations of "an act of serious misconduct" and a breach of contract.
They added the show will be taken off-air immediately, while Sandilands has "14 days to remedy this breach" otherwise his contract will be terminated.
On Tuesday, Sandilands revealed he had "signed off" on a formal statement expected to be released by "Jackie's camp".
Claiming he has been sidelined from the discussions, the radio kingpin said the situation was now entirely in the hands of management.
"I'm not the one putting out the fire, even though I lit the match," he admitted.
During the pair's on-air fight on February 20, Jackie O read from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's astrology birth chart when things kicked off.
"Your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable," Sandilands told her.
"You are off with the fairies with this s--t, it's mental."
Sandilands claimed her fixation on astrology charts made her sound like a "drug addict", knowing Henderson has faced addiction struggles before.
"You are not doing the rest of the job, and everyone in this building has mentioned it to me."
"You don't know what the f--k is going on all the time, because you're looking at that phone, playing in the stars, and it's ridiculous," he added in part.
Sandilands and Henderson have been an on air partnership for 27 years after starting their careers hosting the Top 30 on 2Day FM in 1999.
They moved to breakfast in 2005 and then to KIIS in 2014 when they are currently under contract in a lucrative $200m 10-year deal which runs until December 2034.
