'It's a miracle': Natalie Portman pregnant with third child aged 44

Natalie Portman is expecting her third child at 44-years-old.

The Thor actress is pregnant with her third child, marking her first baby with her partner, French music producer Tanguy Destable.

The couple made the exciting news with Harper's Bazaar.

"Tanguy and I are very excited," she told the outlet.

"I'm just very grateful. I know it's such a privilege and a miracle."

Portman has two other children from her previous marriage to Benjamin Millepied, Aleph, aged 14, and Amalia, aged 9.

The actress added that she "knows how hard it is to get pregnant," as her father is a fertility doctor.

"I have so many people I love who've had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well," Portman added.

"It's such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it's also not an easy thing." She said

"And so I know how lucky it is. I'm very aware, and I'm very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude."

Portman and Destable have been linked since March 2025, one year after she finalised her divorce from her ex-husband.

Portman has been living in Paris on and off for several years, adding that she's enjoyed being in the city while she's pregnant.

The actress has two projects coming up that she's already finished with her production company, MountainA.

The company focuses on filmmaker projects with emphasis on the female perspective. 

She stars as an uptight art dealer in the comedy The Gallerist, which is set for release later this year.

She also stars in Netflix's Good Sex, which is slated for 2027.

As both projects are done, Portman says she's grateful that she has the time and space to focus on her pregnancy.
