Nicole Kidman comes face-to-face with past crush Jimmy Fallon following high-profile split
Nicole Kidman, as we know, has recently achieved single woman status.
And now, she's made her first talk show appearance since the news of her split with husband of 19 years Keith Urban broke late last year.
The Moulin Rouge! star has opted for her first foray back into late-night television to be with none other than Jimmy Fallon, whom she famously admitted to "liking" in a viral 2015 interview.

Coming face-to-face with her crush of days gone by, Nicole addressed the time that had passed since their last interview via Zoom in 2021.
"Great to be here, four years I haven't seen you," she said.
"I want you to come back all the time," Kimmel was quick to respond, "I want you to come back, like, once a month. I love having you on."

The pair first discussed Kidman's recent holiday to Antarctica with her two daughters in the wake of her divorce – which marked the seventh continent they had been to together.
This trip comes off the back of the Aussie actress obtaining primary custody of Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15 in divorce proceedings.
The pair then dove into a back-and-forth exchange in which Kidman teased Fallon, asking him to name all seven continents.
"Are there seven exactly?" Jimmy enquired, to which the actress joked he "had to go back to school."
Fallon proceeded to name six as Kidman provided clues, however when it came time for him to name Europe, the talk show host was stumped.
The subtly flirtatious exchange was then followed by discussions of her reunion with Practical Magic co-star Sandra Bullock for the hit film's upcoming sequel.
Kidman will be reprising her role as Gillian Owens in the long-awaited Practical Magic 2, which is set to release later this year.
However, beyond this there was no addressing the elephant in the room.

During the eight-minute interview, Kidman's divorce notably went unmentioned, however she did allude to "heartbreak" – but only in the context of quoting one of her past projects.
As the audience applauded following discussion of Kidman's 2021 advertisement for US cinema chain AMC Theatres, she recited her now-viral line, "Heartbreak feels good in a place like this."
The crowd's reaction was instant, their cheers increasing in volume.
This interview marks Kidman's first major in-person appearance on The Tonight Show since her viral interview with Fallon in 2015.
At the time, the pair revealed how they almost had their happily ever after together… though not quite.
"I don't know if you remember this, but we've met before," Jimmy said, to which the actress quipped, "Oh, I remember…"
Their takes on the situation slightly conflicted: Kidman liked him and perceived their first "hang" as a date, and Fallon, well, he just thought she wanted to meet him.
Kidman revealed she had a crush on the comedian: "I just remember I liked you."
A flustered Fallon replied, "Wait what?! What?! What are you talking about?!" adding, "Did I date Nicole Kidman?! Did we go on a date?"
