Sarah Jessica Parker makes rare appearance with all three kids

Sarah-Jessica Parker's latest appearance has proved a family affair, with all three of her children in tow for a night out on the town.

Parker and husband Matthew Broderick put on a rare familial display with the son and twin girls they share, appearing at a release party for Marc Shaiman's new book Never Mind the Happy.

Parker and Broderick have primarily opted to keep their three children, James Wilkie, 23, and daughters Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, both 16, out of the public eye.NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JANUARY 26: (L-R) Matthew Broderick, Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker, Marc Shaiman, James Wilkie Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick pose at a book release party for Marc Shaiman's new book

But they've now stepped out as a family unit at the New York City venue, posing for pictures alongside Shaiman in the process.

James Wilkie's striking resemblance to his father was evident in another snap from the night out.

While the kids were rarely seen at public events with their parents in earlier years, The Sex and the City alum has slowly introduced them to the spotlight in recent times.

The twins joined Parker at the opening night of Smash on Broadway in April last year, while James has occasionally accompanied his parents at red carpet events – namely the New York Premiere of And Just like That... in 2021.

Broderick, best known for his starring role in '80s film Ferris Bueller's Day off, previously revealed his son had shown interest in following in his footsteps, saying he'd "been trying to act a little bit" recently.

He and Parker officially tied the knot in 1997, welcoming their son five years later in 2002, followed by their twin girls in 2009.

This latest public appearance from the actress follows recent discourse surrounding her ex-Sex And the City co-star Chris Noth.

The pair, who first brought the central relationship between Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big to screens over 20 years ago, reportedly fell out after Noth was accused of sexual misconduct in 2021.

As these allegations came to light, the show's leading ladies Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davies released a joint statement condemning their co-star's actions, and throwing their support behind the alleged victims.

Noth has vehemently denied all accusations of assault since, maintaining the claims were "categorically false."

"These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago—no always means no—that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual," Noth said at the time.

And now, Noth has made an appearance on podcast Really Famous to share his thoughts on the falling out directly.Chris Noth, Sarah Jessica ParkerSarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth

When asked by podcast host Kara May Robinson if he had any comments to direct towards Parker, Noth did not hold back.

"She did herself a disservice," Noth bluntly said of the actress.

"And she did me a disservice by not hearing what I had to say about this, 'cause I have a lot to say about it."

He went on to say that Parker should have heard his side of the story before "making her statements."

"You went for the brand, and you missed the human contact" he added, taking a direct shot at the actresses' joint response.
