Suits star Patrick J. Adams reveals what it was really like working with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex

Patrick J. Adams reflected on working with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex on the set of Suits, sharing one of her regular habits.

The actor, 44, was speaking to host Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast about the show and its resurgence in popularity due to Meghan's marriage to Prince Harry.

During the chat he revealed the one habit of the royal's which was a constant on set.

When Meghan's relationship to Prince Harry really started to dominate headlines, he changed his Instagram bio to "The other guy from that show that you're watching on that app because that girl married that prince."

He mentioned that the sight of his Instagram bio probably got a sarcastic eye-roll out of the Duchess of Sussex.

"I got a lot of eye rolls," he recalled, "That was a constant with Meghan, her rolling her eyes at me like, 'Oh my god, what are you doing?'"

He and Meghan played love interests Michael Ross and Rachel Zane on the nine-season legal drama, and thus spent a lot of time on-set together.

They ended up getting married on-screen in the Season 7 finale, soon after which she got married in real-life to Prince Harry. Adams and many of her other co-stars were invited to her 2018 wedding.

He joked that he "doesn't have enough followers" to warrant free items from Markle's new lifestyle brand.

Hirsch then mentioned that she received a package with a handwritten note from the royal, having defended her on-air before her show With Love, Meghan was released on Netflix.

"I haven't met her," Hirsch told Adams.

"The way that happened was that her show was coming out, and I had said on my Instagram, where I say stupid shit, that I am worried for Meghan. 'Cause you know, you've been protective over her in the past."

Adams then replied, "What she's gone through is insane," to which Hirsch agreed.
