The hottest invite in town: Kylie Minogue to perform 90-minute set at elite billionaire event

One of the nation's most powerful business figures is preparing to throw the most exclusive party of the year - and the entertainment has already been locked in.

Later this month, billionaire Anthony Pratt is reportedly hosting a lavish gathering at which Kylie Minogue will perform.

Pratt, the executive chairman of global packaging giant Visy Industries, is said to have secured the Australian superstar for a one-night-only performance at his sprawling private estate.

According to reports, the intimate show will see Minogue, 57, deliver a 90-minute set for a select crowd of around 300 guests.

The invitation list is expected to read like a who's who of Australia's corporate and political elite, with Visy shareholders and influential friends of the Pratt family among those attending.

"It's fast become the hottest invitation in town," one insider told the Herald Sun.

Private performances by major artists have become something of a tradition at the high-profile event.

Last year's party reportedly featured a performance by Katy Perry, who was paid around $1.5 million.

Industry insiders suggest Minogue's appearance could command an even bigger payday, with speculation swirling that the singer may earn several million dollars for the exclusive show.

This week, Minogue was spotted among the celebrity guests at the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week, where she stepped out in an elegant cream lace ensemble paired with classic heels and a leather Chanel bag.

Minogue, the highest selling Australian-born solo artist of all time, has also recently been immortalised in miniature form, with Barbie unveiling a new collector's doll.

The Barbie Signature release recreates the singer's striking look from the viral Padam Padam era, featuring the bold red outfit that became synonymous with the chart-topping hit.

It marks the second collaboration between the singer and toy giant Mattel.

In 2024, the company honoured Minogue with a one-of-a-kind Barbie Role Model doll created as part of Barbie's 65th anniversary celebrations.

For the latest release, the design team worked closely with the performer to capture her signature style and stage persona.

The Barbie Signature Kylie Minogue Collector Doll went on sale earlier this year through a number of major retailers, including Mattel's online store and Amazon.

Minogue said seeing the miniature version of herself come to life was a surreal moment.

"Seeing this doll come to life has been really special," she said.
