The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has breast implants removed after facial parasite

Brandi Glanville has spoken candidly about her health after reportedly battling a facial parasite.
The reality star, 53, known for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, told Inside Edition she was having her breast implants removed after one ruptured and could possibly have been causing other issues, like hair loss.
"I just want to be healthy," she tells the publication as they film her going in for surgery.

"I'm feeling petrified. Sillicone was in all of my lymph nodes," she added.
"It is torn. It is ripped," the doctor who completed Glanvile's surgery said about the ruptured implant.

"This is actually much worse than I had expected."
The implants were from 18 years ago, per Inside Edition, and she had new implants put in during the surgery.
Glanville also told TMZ: "I definitely had a parasite. I was shocked because, I mean, honestly, my implants, I've had for 20 years almost."
She told women who have implants to keep on top of their health and when they need to replace the implants.
Often it's said they need to be replaced every 10 to 15 years.
"[My breasts] are completely ruptured, and I had silicone all over my lymph nodes, and that's what caused the infection in my face, and [it] couldn't get out because my lymph nodes were all clogged."

The American reality star is known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and was previously married to American actor Eddie Cibrian, 52.
He is now married to American singer LeAnn Rimes, 43.
