Cody Simpson subtly reveals relationship status in casual video after split from Emma McKeon

Cody Simpson has turned to TikTok to subtly break his silence on his relationship status following his high-profile split from swimming superstar Emma McKeon.

The 29-year-old shared an update on his love life in the video, where he posed in a park wearing a simple black tee and flared jeans.

Overlaying the top of the clip, he provided an update on his life for his fans.

"No girlfriend, gym x4 per week, reading daily," he shared, before adding he did have, "one delusional crush, making music again, new little neck tat, I am not 30."

"Life is good," he concluded, with the video playing his new song Baby Blue in the background.

Fans reacted to his update, with some even shooting their shot.

"if you need a girlfriend i volunteer," said one brave soul, while another asked, "Where do I send my girlfriend application?"

"i'm delusional, am I the crush??" one fan asked.

Others found their lives very similar to the pop-star and retired swimmer.

"Kinda crazy that I'm identical to Cody Simpson on paper right now," one remarked.

Some had advice for the young star.

"I will say I turned 30 in October & so far it's way better than my 20s," said one.

The iYiYi singer recently split from his partner of four years, Olympic swimmer Emma McKeon.

The Olympic gold medallist swimmer and the singer quietly split at the end of last year, according to the Daily Telegraph. 

Simpson, 29, and McKeon, 31, had been together since 2022.

A pair close to the couple told the publication the split was "amicable," adding, "They are still really good friends."

The pair met in early 2022 and bonded over their love of swimming.

Simpson had moved into the sport after a long singing career, trying his luck and making the Australian Olympic Team.

Though he did not address the breakup himself, his younger sister Alli Simpson, 27, acknowledged the breakup on The Morning Show.

"She is like sunshine in human form, so I'm just so happy they can move forward," she told the hosts.

Alli didn't share a reason for their split but explained the pair were navigating this time privately.

"I don't want to speak for either of them, this is their private time and their business and I love them both dearly," she said.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Alli added: "Break-ups are never easy, whether you're in the public eye or not. I'm just happy if both of them are happy.

"I'm sure they'll address things in their own time."
