Kylie's $3m payday for Melbourne billionaire Anthony Pratt's backyard bash

Guests at packaging billionaire Anthony Pratt's backyard party in Melbourne last night were treated to a special performance by none other than our very own Kylie Minogue.

The Aussie pop princess made an appearance at the annual Visy Industries cocktail party, performing for 250 VIPS, including the likes of PM Anthony Albanese and Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan in the backyard of the billionaire's mansion, known as Raheen.Herald Sun.

The 57-year-old opened her show with chart-topper Spinning Around, before going on to perform Can't Get You Out of My Head, Spinning Around, Better the Devil You Know, On a Night Like This, Padam Padam, and The Loco-Motion.

She also slowed it down, performing the romantic ballad, Especially For You, commenting that the song made her feel "nostalgic ... like driving her Datsun to Nunawading", where she filmed the TV soap, Neighbours, when her career was burgeoning.

The singer was reportedly paid $3 million for the high-profile gig, with the party's host making sure to snap a picture.

The star wore a one-shoulder black sequin gown with a white lace panel across the front, while Pratt wore a blue suit with a tie featuring his name printed across it.

Known as Melbourne's richest man, Pratt has a history of inviting major stars to perform at his yearly event.

2024's party featured a performance by Katy Perry, who was reportedly paid around $1.5 million to sing.
