'Pain, humiliation and betrayal': Husband's shock confession days after reality TV couple reveal pregnancy loss

Travis Clark, the husband of Bringing Up Bates alum Katie Bates has admitted to cheating on his wife, days after the reality TV couple revealed their heartbreaking pregnancy loss.
Clark, 24, shared the confession in a statement on his Instagram Stories on Sunday.
"This is hard to write but I owe the truth and I owe an apology," he began.
"I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust," he continued.
"There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone.
"I know that words don't begin to express the damage I caused or the depth of the hurt I've brought into her life but I am truly sorry."
He proceeded to apologise for the "pain, humiliation and betrayal [he] caused [Bates] through [his] choices".

"I understand that an apology doesn't repair what I broke and forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for," he added.
"I am taking responsibility by getting help and doing the work to become a more honest and accountable man, regardless of outcome".

Clark's revelation comes just days after Bates shared that she had experienced pregnancy loss.
In a video posted to her Instagram, she documented the experience of learning that she had fallen pregnant and later the moment she learned she had lost her unborn baby.
"I will spend the rest of my life missing you," she captioned the post.

Clark and Bates already share two children together.
They welcomed their daughter Hailey James Clark in February 2023. Their son Harvey Gray Clark then came along in October 2024.
The couple married in December 2021 at a ceremony with a 400-strong guest list in Loudon, Tennessee.
Bates is yet to comment on her husband's revelation.
The couple both appeared on the reality TV show Bringing Up Bates which followed the lives of Bates' parents Gil and Kelly Bates as they raised their nineteen kids.
