Tammy Hembrow's vow for new romance: 'Something I want to protect'

Tammy Hembrow has touched on her new romance with influencer and actor Grayson Te Moana in a radio interview, vowing to "protect" it.

Appearing on Hit Network's Drive with Lucy & Nikki, the fitness entrepreneur and influencer, 31, admitted she won't be speaking too much about their new romance.

"Look, I'm having a great time…" Hembrow said about her new relationship with the 22-year-old.

"I like being an open book. I want to be an open book, but this is something I just want to protect a little."

Hembrow also spoke about the infamous paparazzi photographs of her that emerged in February, when she was seen at the airport with messy hair extensions.

She joked her hairdresser "gifted" her a hair brush after seeing the photos.

Hembrow said she was just rushing to get home and didn't care what she looked like.

"Getting up in the morning, I was just like, 'I can't be bothered to brush my hair' whatever, get me home ASAP'.

"I definitely was a bit hung over, a bit dusty, I fell asleep on the plane.

"Coming off the plane, I did not even know what I looked like."

Just last week, Hembrow soft-launched her new romance with Te Moana, 22.

She was seen enjoying a beach picnic with him and shared photographs of herself with him sitting next to her.

He also shared a selfie, and she commented underneath: "Mine though."

The pair debuted their relationship on a date night at the Australian premiere of Wuthering Heights at Sydney's State Theatre earlier this year.

After being linked to AFL star Bailey Smith following her split from ex-husband Matt Zukowski, Hembrow was seen sharing a kiss with Te Moana before heading inside, confirming their budding relationship.
